Objective:A retrospective study to investigate and compare the different time of nutritional therapy in chemotherapy-induced IV degree myelosuppression in cancer patients. Method: A retrospective analysis of IV degree of bone marrow suppression after chemotherapy in cancer patients were included. Two groups were divided. Patients with IV myelosuppression within 72 hours of nutritional support therapy was set early nutritional intervention group; Otherwise group was set later nutritional intervention group; we investigated and compared the difference between the two groups in the time of granulocyte rising, the ratio of bacterial infection, the fungal infection rate, clinical symptom score, mortality rate etc. Result: The time of white blood cells and platelets in positive nutritional intervention group was better than that in the later intervention group. In addition, The early nutrition support group had lower rate of infection and mortality. Conclusion: The early nutritional support is not only benefit for the recovery time of white blood cells, but also can reduce the infection rate, mortality rate, It is worthy of further investigation in clinical trial.
