The 2015 Best of ASCO Event in China® co-organized by Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO) and American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) was held at New Century Grand Hotel Hangzhou from 10 to 11 July, 2015.

The theme of the 2015 ASCO Annual Meeting was “Illumination and Innovation: transforming data into learning” The meeting of BOA China Academic Committee focused on this theme, and invited more than 50 experts from both ASCO and CSCO to carry out deep analysis into the 34 most important papers presented at the ASCO annual meeting. The 2015 Best of ASCO Event in China® introduced the latest consensus and research developments in ASCO annual meeting to the Chinese attendees, covering such areas as Lung Cancer, Breast Cancer, Gastro-intestinal Cancer, Lymphoma, Genitourinary Cancer and Immunotherapy. This event gave those young and middle-aged scholars a great opportunity to show their talent, and provided new visions in clinical research of oncology. Although the strong typhoon Chan-hom caused inconveniences and delay or cancellation of airflights, those attendees still showed high enthusiasm in the event. There were more than 1,300 attendees, making it the largest overseas session of Best of ASCO outside USA.

Even though faced with lots ofdifficulties, this event achieved great success, highlighting the devotionsfrom every attendee and organizers. Here, we would like to extend our sincere appreciations to the experts, translators and those institutions from both home and abroad which helped CSCO in arranging and coordinating this great event.
